Troops and Vechs in Modern Combat ?

Briefly, the variants that might require different models:-

BRITISH: Landrover gets GPMG/AGL/ATGM variants
Lynx gets AT variant
Warrior gets AOP, upgunned and W2000 variants
USMC: HMMWVs get M2HB/GPMG/AGL/ATGM and armour upgrade
LAV-25 gets ATGM and AA variants

US ARMY: HMMWV same as Marines
Stryker gets ATGM and MGS variants
Bradley gets Linebacker AA variant

PLA: EQ-2050 jeep gets AA variant

The rest only get extra armour or additional weapons and such, shouldn't really need different models for them.

Hiro, et al, can you tell me about the setting and equipment being used in this game? Specifically, a British Army force, would they have SA80s or something new? LSW or Minimi? FIST?

both,, but in a real world setting... ie dont exspect to find hover tanks or aliens... YET... :D

think of it as say 5-10 years down the road,, so as the forces add new tech real world were get to use it on the table befor they do effectivly.. at the same time you can do modern battles to represent battles that have happened in last week or so....

So there are rules for stuff that's in service now? Not just the future stuff we're expecting soon? What about older stuff like the Falklands, are those vehicles in there?

hmmmmmmmmmmm sorta we got the scimiter instead of the scorpion for example...

evo command have rules for stuff main book missed..

to be honest the only limit is yourself with these rules for example you could use Hmmvs in your brit force if you wishe and MEA stats for resistance to represent a battle from children of men.

you pay the money use the rules as you wish...

It's stuff in service now or coming in in the near future. You don't have to give the british infanty FIST, for example, unlike in the original system where they had it as standard. You could easily kit out western forces as they appear today, or go for the 5-10 tears downt he line approach.

Right. Thanks guys. I'm quite interested in this game if I can find local players that would be up for it.

Anyone know any good UK retailers for modern troops and vehicles in 1/48 scale?
