Trial of Blood??? Who's Blood? Which Blood? My Blood?

They are assuredly undead soldiers rising out of the sea. Chris worked up exactly what I asked for, and I think he did a helluva job, too. :)

The colouration differences actually have a relation to the prophecy in the book as well...as the cover shows a possible outcome of the adventure.

*bwah ha ha!!!*

Today the website shows Trial of Blood as "Aug 2008"......therefore all the other products will come much later (we will not see Khitai before November????? - at this point that "Oct 2008" cannot be believed....)....
...Mongoose' unpredictable (and not-trustable) schedule strikes again!!!!
this is just getting ridiculous

Don't tell me you honestly trusted the release date...
It's not the first time they blew it and it won't be the last.

Of course the book being considerably larger than the 200 pages listed has contributed to the delay a bit.

Mind you if you all want me to randomly cut chunks of it out (oh, maybe 30% or so) in a completely half-arsed manner I will be willing to do so for our fans.

(Kidding. Just kidding. Don't get upset, I'm not...)

As for an update:

Edited - check.
Laid-out - basic - check (blanks for some pics).
Art - In or on its way.
Double checking of book by, um, checkers - ongoing. They have a lot to go through!

This will still take a little while to complete but it should not slip much more than it already has done. The most time consuming parts are done, although I expect to have a couple of days more work once everything I need has arrived.

As to the campaign. Starting characters to fairly meaty.
Where: All over the shop. Aquilonia. The high seas. Jungles. Deserts.
Sorcerous bad guys - check.
Vast apocalyptic doom - check
Treachery and deceit - check, check, check and check
Demons, savages, pirates, undead, bandits, brutality - could be...

no, i did not trust them....but still I'm bored of their false advertisements...(is it the right word? Sorry I'not a native English speaker).

What does this mean?

If you look on the website the book is listed at 200 pages.

It is going to have a higher page count than this. Far Higher.

(The page count is a major consideration in how books are scheduled, you can do far more 32 page booklets than 100 page books in a month, obviously).

It means I slightly overdid it when I put this story together. ;)

Hope you guys don't the mind slight delay for more pages of awesomeness.

I am pleased there wasn't any director's cut. 8)

But what exactly mean much bigger? 350 pages?
