Or a PDF format one that can be downloaded from Drivethru or whoever and used in conjunction with a certain customisable ref's screen product

Personally, I'd prefer a hardcopy.

Oh so would I, definitely, but the release schedule and hence the printers looks fairly well booked up, so a PDF is a good second choice.

The single biggest problem I see is deciding what goes on it....particularly as expansions are changing things. A weapon list is only as good as the latest book for instance. I was looking at the T20 one and there was a lot of stuff on it....but even then I had difficulty selecting stuff that I thought wuld be a) relevant for the current expression of the game and b) wasnt likely to be subject to change.

A decent Screen would be great - I like the idea of a Customisable Screen as mentioned above as used by a different line/company. Maybe Mongoose should do the same and issue PDF Downloads for all the ranges that they do ?

If we go with a standard screen take a look at the DARK HERESY one - Pure quality *Ummmmm* *Drool* Traveller Screen.....

Yeah, A screen would be a nice add on to Traveller, in the mean time I'll keep using my Savage worlds Screen, Hey Maybe you guys could make a similar product then do downloads for all the games you make, that Might work as well, a 4 panel landscape job in black with web codes in the product to get the GM Screen downloads for free (otherwise charge a nominal fee of $2.00 per set)

I'm going to disagree with you all! Traveller is the first RPG I've bought for a while that I thought was sufficiently simple and elegant that I don't need a bunch of tables in front of me when running the game. No combat matrix like RuneQuest or hard-to-remember damage results like True20 (to name the last two games I've run). Admittedly, we don't play round a table, so I've no need for something to hide my notes behind, but apart from that, I can't honestly think of any tables I'd want to refer to often enough to need them on a screen.

I'm probably in a minority here, though, and if it came with a nice big poster map of the Spinward Marches, or some combat scale plans of common spaceships (like the Firefly plan in the Serenity RPG) I'd certainly buy it.

Alright, alright, we relent! :)

A Traveller Referee's Screen is indeed in the works, and will appear, at latest, in August.

We are currently working on a _fantastic_ piece of art for the player's side, something that will get you into the Traveller mood straight away. . .

We have had people crying out for a Traveller Referee's screen - I can now confirm one is on the way, and will be available around July (ish). This will be built from the thick, luxury card stock that our RuneQuest and Babylon 5 screens were made from, and the player's side has a lovely picture of a Type-S cockpit. Just the kind of inspiration needed for Traveller!

And there was much rejoicing !

That seems hazardous, but we will see.

Fantastic news. Thank you :D

I always find it an essential piece of kit for runing a game, I find it quite tricky without.
