Traveller: Pocket Sized Edition

I love the sound of this.

Same page count as the original so I'm thinking the text will be very, very small... I can live with that but will it contain all the fixes/errata?

:D

Yes, it does seem a small page count for a pocket book - unless, they've forgot to adjust the details from the big corebook on the catlogue entree. On the other hand, it could be a page-by-page reprint, but with a smaller typeset.

We do know that the pocket book will be 'complete' however, and Mongoose did make errata adjustments to the pdf release (apparently), so it should be OK in that regard.

Leaving out the art would be a huge bonus... I never show anyone the art for the careers... Shudder...

Ugh, that seems such a snide comment. Traveller is an incredible game with stacks of free support. I'm such an ingrate!

What a nifty, nifty idea.

I used to travel a lot -no pun intended, and since I did so overseas, I'd occasionally have to dump a bunch of books and collectables simply because they were too expensive to ship.

Now, with this, I can take 'Traveller' on my travels!

Anyone know the ETA of this useful gem?

I'm not commenting on the quality of art in the TMB. I used to be an artist and I know how it feels ...

I just prefer RPG core books without art, unless that art is specifically illustrating something of which we in the RW would have no knowledge, like a battledress. That's why I hope the pocket edition does away with art, nothing to do with my perception of its quality.
