Traveller novel

I'm writing a Traveller novel/fanfic (albeit very slowly) and the first three chapters can be found here.

I'm not very good so any feedback greatfully recieved.

I own a Sony ebook reader (the PRS-505) that I use to read 'paperback' books (just re-read the entire Vorkosigan series). I've tried to match the formatting of those (I proof-read on the train to/from work). I know most people will probably be reading my story on a PC or Mac, but still ...

Its taken 9 months to get this far. Partly because this is the first fiction I've written since leaving high school over 20 years ago so I'm a slow writer. But mostly because I have to fit it in to my limited free time with other projects (including coding release 2 of 'Universe', a software product from BITS).

Anyway, all feedback greatfully received, and if enough people like it I'll try and get the next chapter posted before Christmas.

I'm glad you liked it (comments like that help with my fragile ego). However I do want/need constructive critisism as well ... I can't promise it'll make much difference but I am trying to improve. (But note that the story is from MTU which may diviate slightly from the OTU or YTU.)
