For those that like to build/fight starships, I ran across this game on Steam called Starship Theory. It allows you to build up your ship with floorplans, armor, etc, and then fight other ships.
It's not 100% Traveller, but some may find it kind of fun. It allows you to build ships to carry cargo and trade, to mine, to do some of the things you do in Traveller, just not as RPG as the game is.
