Traveller Companion Alternate Careers

Sea Navy and Air Force should be there somewhere. Especially as both are mentioned in the new Imperial Navy book - but choosing that as a career will not get you much in the way of skills for those 2 professions
You could mock them up by rolling on the Navy tables and substituting skills as appropriate - Flyer or Seafarer for Pilot, Navigation for Astrogation, Heavy Weapons (Vehicle) for Gunner, etc. Career events can keep the stats results, just improv suitable stories.

Service of process is the procedure by which a party to a lawsuit gives an appropriate notice of initial legal action to another party (such as a defendant), court, or administrative body in an effort to exercise jurisdiction over that person so as to force that person to respond to the proceeding before the court, body, or other tribunal.

Notice is furnished by delivering a set of court documents (called "process") to the person to be served.

...

A process agent is a representative upon whom court papers may be served. In the US, the role is generally a requirement of US State law and is known as a registered agent, a resident agent or statutory agent. Process agents are also utilized in the US by truck drivers, brokers or freight forwarders[1] for similar purposes. Process agents that provide nationwide coverage for motor carriers are commonly referred to as blanket companies.[2]

I feel like there is a big gap in the Traveller careers: Health and Safety Manager. Skills should include admin and advocate and persuade. I wish gun combat was also a required skill LOL.
Administrator career. Throw in Broker skill, and you have a Purser. Heck, even a Scholar / Medic could become an Administrator, if you stipulate that they spent time working in a major hospital during chargen.

The word "Agent" points to the Career - in this case, it would be Agent / Corporate. But you could also bring them in from the Merchant or Noble careers.

I've wrapped my mind around the Truther career. Honestly, this career need not exist: the "social media influencer / conspiracy blogger" trope is pure Entertainer / Journalist. You can use that career and assignment and not go anywhere near the Truther career.
I'm still a bit flabbergasted that they never thought of the Teacher career from Cosmopolite. That is still valid.
But what they really could have done with that section is to throw in new assignments for mainstream careers - Undercover Infiltrator for Agent, Influencer for Entertainer, some non-titled assignments for Noble to reflect a setting without feudal titles, and so on.
Even "Noble" as a career assignment for Entertainer - or maybe even "Guru" or "Priest."

Careers provide access to a specific set of skills, and/or retirement benefits.

Could you cobble together a similar set from other careers, probably.

Influencer covers a wide scope, including political lobbyist.

The following is not the sexiest of careers, and it's not particularly a gap in the core book (it's covered by citizen and rolling Drive), but does at least generate a playable Traveler. And its not hard or time consuming, the longest part was the Events table and I'm still under 30 minutes.

Reskinning is underused. I'm not sure why, it might be it's rare for both the GM and the player to really think of it as an option.
