Traveller Companion 2024 Errata

Love the new update, thanks to the team.

I did find one small thing to change on flicking through it today - page 16, "Devloped Words" appears as a header

Agreed! Very nice!
And from p.47: "...allowing a Traveller to shoot an enemy before they throws a grenade..."

Traveller Companion 2024 is still citing Core Rulebook 2020 for page number references, instead of referring to the more recent Core Rulebook 2022. Here are corrections for citing CRB 2022 in TC 2024:
Pg 57: see the Traveller Core Rulebook, page 225 ---> should read page 256
Pg 85: see the Traveller Core Rulebook, page 130 ---> should read page 136
Pg 94: see page 157 of the Traveller Core Rulebook ----> should read page 167
Pg 143 #1: on page 225 of the Traveller Core Rulebook ----> should read page 257
Pg 143 #2: on page 225 of the Traveller Core Rulebook ----> should read page 257
Pg 147: see the Traveller Core Rulebook, page 225 -----> should read page 257
Pg 159 #1: from pages 152–3 of the Travellers Core Rulebook -----> should read pg 163
Pg 159 #2: from pages 152–3 of the Travellers Core Rulebook -----> should read pg 163
Pg 167: as detailed on page 160 of the Traveller Core Rulebook -----> should read pg 171
Pg 168: on page 162 of the Traveller Core Rulebook -----> should read pg 173

Is it time to use page-independent references, yet?

Things like:
1. Introduction.
1.1 The Third Imperium.
1.2 Players and Travellers

etc...

Ack.

This has occurred to us - but GW recently made this change to their Age of Sigmar rulebook and I loathe it :)

We will give this consideration for the next update and/or edition (probably better done in the latter which, unfortunately, we have no plans to do as yet...).

I like the idea of a master index with links to the PDFs. Not sure how to maintain such a thing as the names of the documents change with updates (Thank you for doing that!) so I think that often it would be better to just give:

Index Category - Location
Careers - Core Rule Book 2022, careers
- Aliens of Charted Space Vol 1, careers

Which I get by using Copernic as my desk top search engine and let that dig through all the various occurrences of a term or phrase.

The old Squad Leader from Avalon Hill rule book format so each new expansion fit into the same index.
