Why, or is it an error?

Don't know - I did buy a bundle of PDFs from the Mongoose sale that I carry around on a memory stick. The other day they came in handy (esp Spinward Marches e-book + a paper little black Core Rule Book) for doing some impromptu character generation.

Whilst I'm not exactly thrilled at paying for free stuff, I'm not going to have a hissy fit about it

I noticed that Wargame Vault had a sale on for a lot of their e-books; a GM's Day sale. As I believe the sites are all owned by the same company (at least, I think they are), could it have been a special sale offer?
