[Traveller] A previosuly uncharted sector.

Mongoose
Hi there,

One thing I think Mongoose should consider developing, even as a minor sideline, is an OTU sector that hasn't been officially touched yet. Not to replace or overshadow the Marches, but possibly as part of a living campaign situation that develops it beyond the original book. Another frontier sector would make sense to avoid the potential stagnation of a central sector. maybe even a sector completely outwith the Imperium with smaller polities to give a different take on play in Traveller.

Regards,

Shane

I like this idea. They could create a new race in the sector as well.

I would also like to see them get the license for the Firefly series (since the license for the Serenity movies was taken for another RPG) and use it with the Traveller rules. That would allow the Traveller community to esially incorporate a new sector if they wanted to.

Reminds me of one of my big complaints about The Traveller Adventure, and about the Judges Guild sectors... 2 races apiece described in great sociological detail, but not enough data to run a combat with them, let alone generate them as PC's.

(TTA has the Eibokin and the Dandies; JG has the danin and another race whose name escapes me. The Solomani Rim has the Vegans.)
