I was just curious if there was a way we could get our hands on some of these puppies straight from the source...the local game stores around here are unable to do anything right, to say the least.

Paizo put up for sale on their website a limited number of their Free RPG Day 2008 module. They also have the pdf for free download. This began on Monday, June 23rd, soon after Free RPG Day. :twisted:

Limited sales of the printed version made the Free RPG Day freebies possible and the free pdf is a nice touch.

So...perhaps something similar for Mongoose's Traveller Book 0? Limited sales of a printed version + free pdf version? :twisted:

I, too, would be very happy to have a PDF copy of Book 0 - if only for a taster for my future players.

Failing that, a list of which rules that Book 0 "borrows" from the core rules would make life easier.

I managed to obtain Book 0 last Saturday from Bishop Games in Coventry. I *think* they may have had a few products left over, whether they have disappeared by now, I don't know. I also have no idea if they would post them out. Just trying to help people obtain a copy, although I don't want to get any hopes up.

Noble Knight Games will send you a copy of Traveller Book 0 while they have them in stock if you place an order of $9.95 or more. It's how I'm getting my copy.

EDIT: And if you can get an extra copy, ship it to msparnge. It would be the neighborly thing to do.

They do indeed have *a few* left; postage is about £ 1.

This may be good news... I was looking at the Traveller section on Mongoose' website (http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/rpg/series.php?qsSeries=51 ) when I noticed that the Sep 2008 entry had, as well as "Adventure 1: Belt strike", had "Book 0: Introduction to Traveller"

So those who missed out might strike it lucky in the Autumn?

Guess you should have asked about Free RPG day before the event. Next year's is scheduled for JUNE 20, 2009, a Saturday. So start telling the Local game store that you want it now!
