Tokens for the Runes in RuneQuest

I don't have any of the books yet, but I plan to get into Rune Quest. I'd like to make tokens of the runes that I can give to the players when they find one.

Has anyone put together all of the symbols in a word document or something similar? Are they in one of the sourcebooks?

I figure I can print them on labels then stick them to "woodsies" wooden tokens.

Thanks

Hi All,

Fimo clay works really well for this, Jeff Richard, Dan Barker and Gwen Mott made a load of runes up for their Dragon and the Deep Blue Sea Freeform run in Germany this year. They even had runes within runes that could be torn apart. They worked really well and we very effective. If you use the software Vue D'Esprit you can make 2D stone runes, you simply use the landscape feature, make a section of land, take a rune and use it to mould the landscape, change the material to a suitable stone and adjust accordingly with the moulding tools. Its a technique we used for In Wintertop's Shadow.

I downloaded the Runequest font, then printed it on full size sheets of labels, then stuck them on wooden tokens. With the wood background I used, it matches the wood pretty well. :)

Thanks for the links and ideas.

There's always Marquetry (says he desperately hoping he's spelt it correctly) burning the symbols into wooden disks. Or taking a dremel to said disks and staining them.
