To Liati or not to Liati

I am considering getting a Centauri Liati or two. However, on the table, you could field four Vorchans/Demos, giving you greater flexiblity, while not offering quite the same degree of maneuverability. For those who have played with or against it, is the Liati worth fielding?

Liati is a great Battle level ship. Especially good at killing white stars, drakh raiders, drazi etc.

Damn straight - superb ship against almost any opponent - it has stupidly good speed and maneuability combined with 4+ dodge.

Against the ISA it is essential 8)

That and the Balvarin can be found in 90% of the fleets I field (used to be the same with the Maximus but its much more specialised now)

It has great guns - the double damage beam precise beam is most useful against high hull fleets and it can dela with fighters quite well - even carrying two of the very best in the game.

Use it, enjoy it (and hope for a better model!)

I would have to agree with the evaluation of the units potential. It is something that I would concider top priority to shoot down.

Athstectically however.... its ugly as sin.

Speaking as an ISA WS heavy player the only Centauri vessel I fear more than Vorchans is Liatis.
