When does MGT Traveller "Start"?

Like what year? Is Tripwire generally thought of as the first event, etc.?

1103 to 1105 I think.

Tripwire starts in 1105.

Not to open up an old can of worms, but MGT Traveller Core Rulebook does not have any specific time associated with it. The book is usable in a variety of settings such as Judge Dredd, Hammers Slammers, and of course The Third Imperium.

Mongooses The Third Imperium Spinward Marches does specifically state it is 1105 by the Imperial calendar.

Perhaps more Traveller books will come set during alternate time periods of the Imperium.
