You won't be disappointed. I was really disappointed by MRQ1 rules but thought that generally (Maps, or rather the lack of accurate detailed ones, aside!) a very good job was done with the 2nd Age setting. I took the plunge with the sale stuff too and was impressed.
Dara Happa Stirs is a fantastic campaign. It's main drawback is that it's so Gloranthan and specific to one religion. You kind of have to be a die hard Yelmite or you're out of the picture. It is very 'railroady' and episodic but that is because it is tied firmly into a canonical Gloranthan timeline. Personally I can't be bothered with the Gloranthan canon pre-decided future business so I'll probably get round to running it with drastic heretical changes galore. That said the level of detail and development is a huge credit to the writer and makes it a damn good read on its own! Attracted me to more of Mr.Whitaker's work.
I liked the fact that Fronela came with a scenario at the back. Something like this to actually get players up and running with connections in the adventuring area is such an obvious move it always amazes me that so many setting style RPG supplements miss the trick. Lots of useful Hsunchen background. Reads like a chillier slighlyt more feudal-European Ralios. A bit short on mapping detail again and a selection of stats (Especially for all the different Hsunchen!) would have been a big help but hey at these prices it's good value anyway.
The Samurai books aren't normally my cup of tea either and, as an owner of Bushido and Land of the Ninja, I wasn't short of background. At those prices though I thought I'd take a risk. I wasn't disappointed. Good flavoursome material. Same could be said for the 'Honour' scenario. In fact I'd say pretty much all the background and scenario RQ material was a real snip (Rune of Chaos aside. But even then you can twist the raw material to your own evil ends...). I'd skip the rules though for RQ2. (The 2nd Age Second Edition stuff is even more complete and improved. I supplemented mine using the Drive Thru PDF download sale).
I think you'll be pleased with your purchases.
