The Soothsayer's Lament

Rurik

Mongoose
The Soothsayer's Lament is on the release schedule for March.

Just wondering what exactly it is, anybody have any details?

Fine.

If you all couldn't help me I figured I'd turn to my good freind Google.

Looks like Bryan Steele is may be tossing up some Hawkmoon goodness!

Can this be right? If so the EC license must be a done deal. Shouldn't there be a sourcebook too? There used to be a Granbretan book on the site.

Amazon can be kinda funny sometimes. While I cannot confirm nor deny that I have done/am working on/will work on any Hawkmoon projects at this time, I can say that sometimes they get the wrong author on some of their projects.

For instance, when you do a search for me on there you get several things that Gar did that have my name attached to them. Yet none of my Warmachine or IK stuff appears at all. It all depends on what sort of info they get to post. They are, I'd say, 85% correct.

I can only say at this time that I did not work on Soothsayer's Lament. :)

Can you confirm whether it is a Hawkmoon release or not?

It is not like it is some big secret - it is on the upcomming release list after all.

Well, it is kinda like a big secret I guess, as no one is telling what it is. I had to find what scraps I could on the Canadian Amazon site. The Japanese site has a blurb on it too, but alas, my Japanese is not all that good.

They do credit Bryan too though.

If you keep poking them, they'll burst!

I can imagine them wanting to tell you things but having to bite their tongues.

You have no idea. It is the hardest part of my job.

Well, that and the weathering of fan response at times. :)

Cool.

Poke.

Poke Poke.

The link to the Japanese site is here.

There are only about two things I can read, and one is Bryan's name. So it really comes down to a matter of whether we believe him or Amazon. What do you think, are Brits more trustworthy than both the Japanese and Canadians combined? Hmmm....

Until we get some official clarification I may have to go with Amazon on this one.

For those who may actually take me seriously: :D

But, of course! :D

Actually, If I had bothered to look at Mongoose Steeles' location he is in the United States, so I guess not a Brit at all.

I had just assumed, being a Mongoose and all. Oh well, guilty by association I suppose.
