Right, well aside from a box or two of PAMI (yawn) which I can't be bothered to paint, finally my mixed company of the Federation's finest is done. I'll have to dream up some platoon names...

Arachnids will get painted... erm... sometime. Only 50 warriors, 3 guards, 2 mantids and 3 spiders to go... chances are evo will be out by the time I'm done!
 
Kick ass. Nice collection. I like the paint on the exosuits and pathfinders. Nice conversions on the power suits.
 
Its huge. You should call the regiment 'The Mixers' or seomthing to that effect. Its got everything: LAMI, Maraduer suits, and Pathfinders. How many points out of curiosity?
 
That really depends on how many nukes you take :) Also I have a Flamberge and Sarissa which aren't shown;

The Pathfinders as shown (1 lt, 2 NCOs, 2 corporals, 4 Shredders, 2 Snipers, 2 Javelins) and a full K9 squad with a corporal, and absolutely no traits come in at 1705pts to my reckoning.

The LAMI as shown (1 lt, 2 NCOs, 3 corporals, 3 snipers, 3 coms packs, 3 longbows, 3 fednet, 3 medics all in 3 full squads) again with no traits: 1035 (surprisingly cheap!)

SICON with a mk 2 neodog is 110. TAC UAV 120, CHAS 175.

Exos with all firestorms on the Grizzlies, 1lt in a cougar and no traits: 1435

Marauders (2 apes, 1 chicken, 1 Nighthawk) 910 points with a blizzard and inferno on the Chickenhawk.

Traits, reliants, fleet assets and so on - could track alot higher in total points.

Yeah. LAMI is cheap...I had figured I would buy complete platoon(textbook) or stop at 2k(for now)...Had to go for 2 full platoon for LAMI or it would have been way too short of 2k...Ugh. Well atleast with 2 textbook platoons I should have enough LAMI's for any situation :D

Nightmare to paint though.
 
Yeah, the LAMI got tiresome to paint after a while - that's 40 some figures to make 3 fully kitted out squads, and as said - that's only 1000 or so points. Pathfinders were quite laborious to build/paint also (just time consuming rather than anything - LAMI are quite quick as they're so basic). A LAMI/Exosuit mix is tempting for a 2000pt tournament, however I don't think there are going to be any more of those before Evo comes out? (pity!).

The Exos weren't a joy to paint (a few coats and drybrushing is all), although they were fun to build as they're quite snazzy figures. But I did enjoy the Marauders (I may go on and invest in a Bigfoot to add to the gang eventually).
 
I tore through my exosuits very quickly, doing a mix of exos and LAMI. I only have 20 lami, bt I am buggered after doing 14. I don't know if I will ever do the other 6...
