The Lost Tales

Aye... fantastic stuff. Makes you treasure those old episodes even more, knowing they'll (sadly) never be able to make more with them. :(

By the way, anyone else notice the Sentri looks a little updated as well? I know we all picked up on the new-look Vorchan, but they've done the same to the Sentri as well... looked pretty cool.
 
Would of thought the EA would of used Thunderbolts as the fighter of choise on the Warlocks.

thought the bit in the veiwing chamber with Teryl Rothery was funny.

Loved it as you say makes me want to watch the old ones even more now.
Hope they make more lost tales.

Anyone hear is mongoose is going to do anything with the new matiral from the lost tales like ships or that quntuim drive and anything else it was good and yet it did offer them a wealth of new stuff to use in the RPG and ACTA. anyone know?

Not quite, a couple of the old models have been salvaged (they talk about it on one of the video diaries on the DVD)
 
DVD finally arrived in the post this morning, I'll watch it tomorrow if I can convince my mother to curtail her visit and go back North.

have to say personally i thought it was crap, and actually preferred LOTR over this. the small cut scene of a battle could have been longer but the rest really didnt hold any interest for me.
hope they improve on other ones as this is not a good start IMO.
 
I liked and enjoyed the second story but thought the first one was a mid season filler at best - an odd one to start off really adn it didn't make any real sense to me or even seem very B5
 
I just watched it and liked it very much. It was very good for me to see Bab 5 again. And i really liked the jokes they make and... i liked it all :D... I guess im a fan.

Does anybody know if they will make more lost tales or more Bab 5 Movies or anything?

They'll make more if Lost Tales sells well enough. If so, apparently we'll be seeing a bit of Garibaldi. And Peter Jurasik said he'd be interested as well, I think.
 
Well it's been 6 years to get this (according to the back of my DVD sleeves) since we last had any new stuff, and that was LotR (which I liked) so anything that comes quicker than that would be nice :lol:

In all honesty it is good... just a bit short. The special effects are jaw dropping, with the station looking very sexy (well as sexy as a computer image can be).

The stories contained are nice, and well thought out.
 
Once I'm done on these here forums, it's going in the DVD player, unless I'm too tired. Proofreading the tourney packs for a friend can wait.....

I liked the Tales...

There were too few people... a second recorder person for the interview would have been nice, if only due to reporters liking having a witness you know...a single guard would have looked great outside the cell... but largely that's nit-picking what are otherwise very Babylon style stories.

We got some great moments in there, even if a couple are a bit flat. I'll take it.
