The Great War

There seems to be lots of great ideas and designs for "new" shadow ships knocking around at the momet......

I have an idea why not use some of these hulls and create a load of Shadow ships, as there really isn't much scope to fit them into the B5 era, how about going back about 1000 years and creating a "Great War" era for ACTA, use these ships then with some Minbari and Vorlons (and maybe chuck some other races in as well, the Drahk should have been around then as they have been servants of the Shadows for ages).

tracking down the owner of the artwork/design and asking their permission to use & paying them for it would need to be done before MGP could produce any of them.

Well as the pics are posted on the forum getting in touch with them shouldn't be to difficult....

At the moment I doubt MGP will do anything about it, but there are a few people out there who like to do their own fleets and mods......

a lot of the ship pictures posted are reposts of other peoples artwork from several years ago... not as easy to find them now.

fan pics and models are fine, until someone tries to start selling them, then their are licence issues, which Matt has already mentioned on here before.

Baa Humbug, I still think its a good idea, and a great time period for an alternate setting for ACTA, without going outside the B5 universe.

Great idea look forward to reading it!? I am presently putting my Alt Universe idea (Darkness Rising) into pdf for people to look at (or not!)

I would be more than happy for anyone to use my ideas for their universe or in the present game!

See no reason why they can not be used in "present day" ACTA - 3 or 4 ships is not many at present and the "its not in the show argument" is frankly (to my mind) pathetic given the majority of ships in the whole game are made up - especially some races who get maybe one ship at most on screen!!!!!

re the Drakh - be interesting as I get the impression they lost their homeworld" to the Volrons or Minbari and therefore changed under the inlfuence of the Shadows. May be different people a thousand years ago?
