so... i have finished the paintjob on the corvinus and give my liati a "little bit" more details. ..and i have modified the forward turret on the liati,now

looks good but the name isn't very Centauri. Sparta being very Greek fits right in with EA naming convention

arghhh....i know i know.... it is very difficult to find good names for all this new ships. the most good names are still in use. but i want to hear now some ideas from the players here.... i don´t know anyone good centauri names.

maybe a gunship.
the problem is the centauri have so many ships for every situation...very difficult to find a new class between this.

Anything you did with this model would just be covering old ground. The Centauri really don't need any more ships.

That said, I like the name Corvinus. Go with that.

Those roles are already covered in the Centauri fleet. It'd make more sense for it to be an advanced cruiser-type platform using the very latest tech received from the Drakh; maybe a battle or war level ship to compete with the big, new designs from the League and Narn. Give it a GEG and nuetron cannon armament, maybe stealth, too, and a complement of Rutarian fighters. Back it up with ion cannons with reasonable arcs.

I think you can make some pretty good stuff just playing around with Centauri bits and pieces and kit bashing...I'll have to get round to finishing my upgraded (and upgunned) Corvan/Vorchan at some point.

i can´t sell this ship. you know, this all are moongoose parts..copyright and so one...a lot of problems..
but you can make this by your own...if you have the money for the ships. i have luck, i have now experience with moldmaking and scratchbuilding so i can cast and rebuild nearly all models. :wink:
