The Best Minis For RQ Trolls?

Like it says, any good minis to depict RQ trolls? Mistress, Dark, Cave? Enlo? I guess enlo could be GW LotR goblins at a pinch.

Oh, Im an old school kind of guy, i.e., no massive GW orcs, they wouldnt fit in 'style' wise.

I use Lord of the Rings trolls from GW to represent Cavern Troll. It is pretty.

I like the Lance and Laser trolls and trollkin, now sold by Armorcast. I also use the Otherworld trolls. These are pig snouted, look excellent, and can pass for a RQ troll if you squint.

Lots of pics of what various people for their RQ trolls. I personally like the Ral PArtha and Table Top ones, although RP tend to be a bit too small and the T Top Ones are not the greatest models but look like Uz (and thus are still FAR better than the Citadel RQ abominations of yesteryear!).

Also lots of other minis there to gawk at.

I had not been aware of the Armorcast figs, or the Otherworld stuff.

Ive usually substituted other figures for trolls, but this kind of bugs me.

Im not mad keen on those Armorcast models, nor too thrilled with those Otherworld minis either. Call me picky! I guess those Gnolls would be ok to use. I like the baboons though. Ill get some of those, I think.

I think a company called Honourable Lead Boiler Co here in the UK does some nice animals which could be used for Praxian mounts, I think they do baboons too.

The search goes on for trolls, I think.

Look at Reaper Miniatures "bull orcs". They even have a sprue with three heads you can convert.
