Thanks for the Signs and Portents Adventure

I stumbled upon the Traveller adventure by Gareth in Signs and Portents and was joyfully surprised. I had been trying to think of a "meeting" adventure for the players to get togather to launch a new campaign this summer. Setting, just before 5th Frontier War, wanted to set up the Ine Givar as protagonist terrorists before the war begins.

I had been throwing about all kinds of ideas involving the players getting caught up in an Ine Givar terrorist attack. Nothing suited me, then I found "The Rescue" - one little change and the adventure is already completed for me.

A shuttle accidentally crashes into a settlement to start the "rescue" adventure. My tweak will lead to an investigation that reveals the shuttle was sabotaged by the Ine Givar to cause the accident, in order to get my campaign arc going (I know, it may be too similar to a real world event).

Thanks Gareth for completing my first adventure for me, it was a nice coincidence that I needed something just like you provided. Just wish you had put some maps with them. Perhaps I will make my own using my new found Autorealm skills or use Hunter Gordon's "Revelation Station" for my map and insert Gareth's adventure.

Edit: Re-reading I realized how fan-boyish that sounded. True thoughts though.
