Thank you MGP

I am, by nature and inclination, something of a cynic. My posts on these forums have not always been favourable to MGP and I have always spoken up about things that I am not happy within the game or over quality. It has never been done with the intent to whinge for the sake of whinging, I have raised thi ngs that bother me as a customer and a player and hopefully I have sone so in a costructive way for the good of the game.

It is, therefore, nice to have the chance to pay a compliment to MGP. not for producing the best space game on the market, but for doing something they didn't have to do.

I got an email from MGP at the weekend, telling me that if I sent in my old style Drakh Motherships they would replace them all with the new style models.

I was absolutley stunned at this incredible generosity. I have beeen a gamer for over 20 years and I have to say that this must be the best example of altruistic customer service that I have ever come across.

Mongoose I take my hat off to you, Sirs, thank you very much.

I could be wrong, but i beleive there is quite a cost difference too!

i tottaly agree with r.h.o.g., i was suprised to at a fantastic offer from them when i got emailed as well, and also from my earlier concers on quality of the 2 new books, was pleasantly suprised to find replacements winging there way to me quicker than a quick thing.
its very refreshing to be treated this way aas more of a friend than a customer, i have never had a problem with their friendly service, well done guys and thanks

I was told by my FLGS that the 2nd edition books aren't expected to be in the store until september 4th, so you guys have a little longer to wait for the cards, sorry...

Out of curiosity, what do you guys actually think of the new mothership? I'm still not a big fan personally but I have to admit it is a COLLOSAL improvement over the original one And the new carrier I DO like

yea i like the carrier to, i know its had a bit of flak for its detail but i like it.
the new mothership is as you say a huge improvement over the last back of an elephant model

when i first saw the unpainted previews of the carrier I hated it it didn't seem to fit in with the rest of the fleet but now when i've seen it painted I can only say well done to MGP for there good work. the Mothership i'm still not sure of but it is growing on me

I like them both, keep looking at them and thinking 'hmmmmmm maybe a Drakh force would be good' then I look at the Cruisers and Destroyer and think 'Nah, maybe not'
