Talus Paints Judges!

ok this is really just to show off what i've done so far =)

the bases are just temporary untill i get some forgecraft ones delivered (any day now!)

i have dekker, anderson and demarco on the table right now, along with two lawmasters =)

also went in a different direction with this guy!

i call him... MAGMA MAN! =D

what do you guys think?

Really like Magma Man, especially the red shade/ highlights.

Care to share your recipe for the gold on the Judges' pads? I'm still undecided if I'm going Gold or Yellow for my pads (when I get around to doing some actual judges).

im afraid i actually cheat on the gold

its vallejo liquid gold

base it with old gold
pick out raised details in normal gold
highlight with silver
then a thin wash with GW Agrax Earthshade to add a little depth

alcohol based paint, wonderful stuff!


also, everyone looks a lot better in person, my flash on the camera wiped out the real detailing...

magma man actually has a lot more shading!
