That special time of year is fast upon us - time for Travellercon 2008. We already have referees submitting games for the schedule, but we need MORE…that’s where YOU, the loyal player fanbase, come in…

If you’d like to run a Traveller game, or a non-Traveller game based in the Traveller Universe (Shiny!), WE WANT YOU!

Go to www.Travellercon-usa.com and click on the registration button. Registration this year is $30 for pre-registration and $40 at the door. And we are again holding the convention at the glorious Brunswick Hotel in Lancaster,Pa. Hotel information is also located on the website.

Oh yeah, we'd like players, too

See YOU there...

Oh, man! It's in the US this time, but I may not be able to afford the trip from Texas. :(

Time to talk/plead with the wife,

Well, I spoke with the Missus, and I will not be able to make it due to lack of funds. (She put it like this: "We can only afford one Con. You either get to go to TravellerCon or GenCon. Which do you want?" I chose GenCon, at least for this year.)

Enjoy the events, guys, and roll 2d6 for me sometime,
Flynn

Sounds like fun. Too bad the costs to attend are so high. (I mean the cost of the trip from california, not the cost of the enterance). :(

I look forward to hearing how much fun others will have though.

I would love to go to this, but unless Matthew decides that I should...there is no way I can afford it., :)

So, any costuming? Come as your fav Trav alien? Hey, Hiver boys Get Busy! (That would give a whole new aspect to a Furry room).

Wow, for me that is about a hour away or so! I think I might just go, now if only Martin would go. I could meet/greet with him and maybe I could get him to sign my copy of Spinward Marshes too!

On a second note, it would be very nice if Mongoose had some kind of official presense a this convention. They are now the flag bearer for Traveller (see Bry, I'm trying to get Matt to pay for your trip!).

We would love for Mongoose to participate/vend or otherwise support, as they see fit, TRAVELLER in convention format.

Any interested Mongoose representative is invited to email me at kmfrye(at)travellercon-usa(dot)com and we'll do whatever we can to make this happen.

Best regards,
Keith F.
