Got mine at my FLGS this very day.

Got mine several days ago from my FLGS, and I have to agree, I am a bit disapointed. Everything is done OK, but the editing is not good. It cant make up its mind if it is before or after FFW. Eitherr is OK, or a before and after section would have been good. As it is, all mixed up is a pain.
But still a good book. The only thing missing IMO is a OOB for the SW fleets. With sector fleet out an official OOB would have been great. And a few bigger Ships.
On whole I like it a lot. It just could have been better with even a small amount of editing. Content editing actualy, by somebody that knows the history and they would have spoted the time contridictions right away.

Yeah, I agree, ok, but let down by the editing, and some very odd uses of the English language (my favourite is where "masochism" has been used when "machismo" appears to have been intended). The issue about the effect of the 5FW on the SW is not made clear, and a chronological table would help the reader, and probably the author as well.zozotroll said:

As of now, it sounds like I'll just keep referring back to my copy of GURPS Sword Worlds for cultural and background information. Might change my mind though eventually if I hear enough good things about the mongoose version.
