Superior Strategic Position

Out of curiosity from a recent Other Duties roll. If a new target is created from Other Duties it's my assumption that the player would NOT get the extra RR bonus for capturing a target. Is that consistent with general application?

Well, the player didn´t capture it as such, so I´d say no RR for that.

That is my perspective, but I can see an arguement made for whether a target is claimed uncontested or found on an other duties.

I see you point. I´d still say that an uncontested target is still captured because there could have been a battle for it. The superior strategic position gives away a target for free, without any player being able to do anything about it - if it gave additional RR points as well, that might be a bit too much of a bonus...
