Stupid question

I sure this has been asked but I did not see it anywhere.

I have been out of call to arms for about over a year so I missed the 2nd edition coming out. Well getting ready to buy it I see the Olympus class corvette is removed from the online store and in the FAQ it is listed as removed from the rules.

Just wondering why?

I always like the ship and not sure why I think it is my favorite. Yea it is small, square, and weak over all. But still I like it.

Last I checked the Olympus is still in the EA Early Years and DOTTA fleet lists. There is even a new (smaller) modeller of it released which is more in scale with the rest of the ships.

It has had a stats tweak in 2nd Ed (as most ships have) but is still a versatile little skirmish ship capable of dishing out a fair amount of hurt from its missiles and railguns.

The Olympus isn't gone, it just has a new model.

Glad the ship is still in the game. I am hoping to get the 2nd edition rules and ship books soon I have to wait till the local store gets them in. They don't or did not stock them but they are ordering them.
