starting a game for b5 n00bs

i should be starting 'the cold equations' soon for some total n00bs... they'll have no knowledge about the setting save for what i give them ahead of time. do you think i should screen a couple episodes for them, and if so, which ones?

I suggest non-plot related episodes. I.e. nothing that relates to the storyline of B5 as a whole. Only show episodes that show a little of the setting. A good example would perhaps be Infection, or Midnight on the Firing Line. After Season 1 things get a little too plot-related to be any use for your kind of player I think.

I'd probably say Midnight on the Firing Line too. It introduces the concepts of the Earth-Minbari War, Raiders, the conflict between the Narn and the Centauri, telepaths and the Vorlons. And, of course, Spoo.
