Starship troopers costs

Everything went up?
Erm... well you missed that all SST plastic models were reduced by 25% two months ago.

Warrior Megaswarm now costs 33.50$ and Plasma Bug 29.95$.

A few months ago all the metals went up due to the import export and other technically bits of trade, and we were all warned WELL in advance by matt, so if you have not been on in a while, then yes, some stuff has gone up.

i may just be imagining htings :D  but i thought the lami were like 19 dollars or somthn i havnt been on the website in a while so it could just be all in my head

Oh, the metal costs is it. They did go up, unfortunately, but then again, we were warned. Few companies would do that for their customers.

Look at GW, they brnig out a metal boxed set of black orcs for the GRimgor's ardboyz army, 50 euros for like ten models, and over the last month or so bring out plastic ones, much cheaper, nicer, numerous, and poseable.

It is a bit unfortunate, but as they say, 'The Show Must Go On!'..

Not meaning to pick at straws, but you cant actually blame GW for that can you? There was actually a hell of a break between the two versions. And everyone knows GW put their prices up at certain points of the year.
Thats like saying Mongoose have ripped us off by releasing so many redundant versions of PAMI squads (That is to say they haven't :D).

the LAMI prices went up almost a year ago and we were well warned. Matt said the $19 price was always planned to be a promotion for a set period of time back then.

And another price hike coming in summer. Yup yup. Give 'em couple of years and they will be asking 50€ for plastic regiment box...

You think thats bad?
The Skull pass box set is £40 over here, its freaking $40 in the US F@~£$!
I think the regiment boxes are at £22ish here now too... grumble grumble...

If I was actually a paying customer Id be extremly pissed off that the UK is funding everyone elses prices :D

Tell me about it, we do it with everything, because our goverment is to retarded to insist that we pay the same (or aprox the same) as the rest of the world for anything....

Well give 'em couple of years and you'll be paying £60 for that skull pass box

Constant price hikes and no sign of stopping. Seems like only sky is limit on how high prices will go. 100€ regiment boxes? Why not...

Well I'd say less retarded, and more blindly money grubbing. If we pay double what everyone else is paying, then when combined with our absurd taxation the government makes around 3-4 times what other countries make off their peons.... They're even looking for a way to impose VAT on online transactions like Ebay at the moment... Im honest to god looking forward to the day the world burns in the fires of apocolypse and I can get down to driving across the barren landscape in my dune buggy dressed as Santa scrounging for batteries and cans of dog food... :D

It is retarded because it is increasing the debt burden which is only going to bring the revolution quicker so maybe its a good thing....

Revolution can never take hold over here, we're way to conservative.
Hell even when we ousted the king we put in a lord high protector :D
Its probably quicker waiting for the inevitable war or economic collapse (Which tends to happen when you even borrow money to clear the national debt  )

And the debt burdens all good as far as the government is concerned.
For every pound someone is in debt, and every pound people save the banks are allowed to lend 14 pounds. Effectivly creating non existant money out of nowhere, and allowing the governement to levy 17.5% on it.
Its a sick world...
The sickest thing is, the governemnt can then take the tax from this nonexistant money and stick it in a bank, allowing the bank to create/lend a further 14X whatever the revenue of the nonexistant money was!

Thank god for little plastic men :D
