Just a general observation that I had to put out there. I've had Mongoose Traveller for a long time now, but only recently have dug into the ship design system. I've found the basic starship design rules to be relatively painless to use.
In the past, I was a "Book 2" ship designer. For those who may not know, that means I designed ships using the original Traveller "little black books", in particular Little Black Book 2, which had a nice and simple design system.
Mongoose Traveller's basic ship design system reminds me of book 2, to a certain degree, but extends design to encompass the OTU much better. And I think they did a pretty good job! Thanks Gareth et al!
