Starship Combat Examples?

Mongoose
Hey, this may be a dumb question, but I have yet to come across this and I thought I'd ask.

I'm about to start a Traveller Mongoose 2nd Edition campaign with Pirates of Drynax. This is my first Traveller campaign since high school with the original LBBs (and that was a few decades ago).

I love the new rules, but the abstractions of combat confuse me a bit. I'm looking for any write up or video samples of startship combat in action so that I can see how it is supposed to work, what kinds of rolls might be expected, and learn some of the ins and outs.

I've seen some youtube videos of campaign sessions, but honestly, the ones I've watched are either really light on or avoid starship combat, or take hours just to start the session properly.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Other threads have been started on this subject and I don't think any shining examples have been found on Youtube or anywhere else. I should record one of ours. We've conducted ship combat several times and we have it down to a pretty clean science. A few house rules have crept in, but only where the RAW are vague and we needed an answer.

Is there any particular aspect of it that you find perplexing?

By the way, I recommend getting this little indy supplement to help you keep track of distances: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/193820/MgT-Traveller-Space-Combat-Chart

It can get pretty hairy if you have more than two ships involved in the fight and it's nice even for just a 1 vs. 1 battle as well.
