Starline 2500 Klingon D17 -- Exploratory concept

Stealing a status from ADB's page on Facebook: For those asking what a Klingon D17 is, I am stealing James Everett's answer: It comes from Stellar Shadow Journal #1 (R3.J7). It was a design study to make a "superior" heavy cruiser. It rearranged the rear hull phasers in a FX-RX pattern. Note the phaser bumps on the top of the rear hull.

Well, not quite. But if that ship were to get a Starline 2500 style update, it would probably end up as the D17.
