So.......Once upon a time I was a big supporter of Mongoose...I bought and demo'd SST at my local comic shop, visited the web site, downloaded PICS of upcoming releases and generally tried to get people as excited about the game I was.....The plastic Cap troopers looked good, the bugs where good and gee quiet affordable too- especially when compared to that overpriced 40k.......And the real kicker for the game? The hyped drop ships......i had people who had no interest in the game wanting Vikings and Valkeries for their 40k armies
Of course people where not sure if Mongoose could deliver on all the promises, after all previously what had they done? Some D20 supplements.??.....perhaps they where overreaching..........Well hopes where dashed and people got burned as SST ground to a halt because they were going PREPAINTED (despite the disappointment and doubts of many of the games supporters) ....but don't worry it going to be the future of gaming and it is going to blow us away and you'd still be able to use armies and books already bought.......and Now after the big announcement and seeing the first couple waves in my comic shop PREVIEWS- (yet never seeing any in the comic shop) ......I (silly me) took a chance and asked them to order me a couple of sets of the Forth....and low and behold nothing came thru from DIAMOND DISTRIBUTING other than a message that they where delayed.........Has anything been release for SST:EVO or a has Mongoose given up????????? I hate say I told you so but......................
