SRD? Open content?

Mongoose
SRD? Is that the open content rules? Where can I find it?

Is it legal to make your own hybrid of MRQ, RQ3 & house rules and post it here on the net? What are the restrictions? I know Glorantha is restricted, but what does this open content stuff really means?

I'm sure many are wondering about the same. Is it possible to get some answers from Mongoose on this?

See:

Down there, you can find SRD downloads, which include license files.

Direct link:

It is on line :
RuneQuest SRD The RuneQuest SRD and Developer's Kit (445 Kb)

on the free downloads section

Thank you very much GoingDown! Over to the second part of my question:

Is it legal to make your own hybrid of MRQ, RQ3 & house rules and post it on the net? What are the restrictions? I know Glorantha is restricted, but what does this open content stuff really means?

Anyone with a definitive answer on this one? I read two other threads with similar topics, but they did not give a clear answer.

You can use anything in the SRD freely as long as you include a copy of the OGL (which is included in the SRD) with your work and section 15 of your included OGL lists the RuneQuest SRD (section 15 is already completed in the OGL included in the SRD).

If you wish to use the RuneQuest logo, you must follow the RuneQuest Logo License as well (also included in the SRD).

If you are doing this for anything but personal use amongst you and your friends, you NEED to get a lawyer to explain to you your rights and duties under the OGL.
