Mongoose
An observation - in S&P 52 there are two excellent articles that are split, with their "part 2s" coming next month. Now its great for BF:E and VAS players that their systems are covered, but unfirtunately its hard to use whats there because you need the info thats coming later. Would it have been better to run a complete article each month? What would readers have preferred?

Since theres no reason to split them (eg to make you buy the next issue) I would rather have it complete in one issue if possible

Given the way some of the readers howl, gnash their teeth and complain when there is an issue without their particular game in it, I can see a very good reason - to try and please the fans of both games.

I am wondering, if (theoretically) Mongoose were to release a perfect issue of S&P, would we have fans howling and gnashing their teeth over having nothing to howl and gnash their teeth about?

Both ??? Im sure that the thread is about any games articles not just the two mentioned

But by splitting both articles now you have 2 groups of people gnashing their teeth waiting for the needed info instead of one.

...or the possibility of having so much content that it would fit in 3-4 issues.

I'm not sure it's that important of an issue, really. Thirty days later for me seems to happen faster and faster anyway so it's not a long wait.

It was more of a "market research" question than anything else. I may be taking on an editors position in the future and was wondering what readers' preferences were.

I should have said that it wasn't an important issue for me. I think it's a good question, though, to clarify. :D

Or maybe in certain cases there are issues like part of an article is either unwritten or incomplete...

In which case I would rather wait and get the whole article, in case the unwritten stuff changes what already has been printed

and the space issue as well...

What space issue ??

If you mean physical space, then that only really applies to a hard copy magazine production.

All in all, if there was the chance to get an article "all in one go" then thats the option I personally would prefer, even if it meant waiting.

Actually I would really like the opportunity to just download the articles I need rather than the whole magazine, but I understand why that isnt done
