My version also lacks at least the cover.

I've checked the file on DTRPG - has front and back covers and the OGL page. I'm not sure what's going on there, but it's definitely not anything to do with the file that's on DTRPG.

Though I can't find the "Life Rating Table" alluded to on Page 90.

The Life Rating table was removed, as it's not necessary. The text pointing to the table (bottom of left hand column, page 90) needs to be re-written to point to the text starting with "Definitions" (top of right hand column, page 90).

Weird...I just downloaded it again via the direct FTP link provided by DTRPG and the file still has no covers. It looks like there's something strange going on. Is it specific to the user account whether the cover appears or not?

Just to clarify, when I say cover, I mean the black background with the full color art and NOT the Credits page. In my PDF, the Credits page is the first page in the PDF.

Same here. TBH I often create my own PDF covers, low ink, nice and bold, simple designs.

Just a thought - DriveThru RPG adds identifying data to PDFs, this might not be working correctly and cause problems with particular viewers or for particular accounts (based on specific or unique text). Simple check would be for one of those with problems to email their copy to the publishers. (Note, there is also the possibility of infected PDFs.)

A new OV file was recently uploaded to DTRPG with covers and OGL page. All customers who have purchased OV should have received an email informing them of this. To get the latest version of the OV file, customers should simply log in to their DTRPG account and check the file name for the OV download, which should be a .pdf file named "Outer_Veil_SP 0200" (please note that the missing underscore "_" between "SP" and "0200" in the file name is deliberate).

If you encounter any further problems, please PM me here or on the Spice Publishing boards.

Hi,
Love the setting, really really good. Hope you concentrate on expanding the Outer Veil universe to the max.
However one small problem. The information for the planets of the Rusalka subsector, has been substituted by the information from the Upsilon Andromedae subsector.

Mmm, having trouble finding the LIFE TABLE referenced in the Astrography chapter. It deals with the number in the UWP and relates to the Life complexity descriptions...

This is an embarrasing piece of errata which should be corrected soon. For the meantime, here is the table:

0 None
1-3 Simple
4-5 Complex
6-7 Diverse
8-9 Biosphere
10-11 Sub-Intelligent (only Earth has living sentient beings as far as the FNH knows)

Unfortunately have found another missing element:

On page 24 it says that included are setting specific mishap and event tables for the Merchant career. Those tables appear to be missing.
