Specialist Forces Errata

Apparently not.
... for these weapons, ranges are listed in kilometres and tons are used instead of kilograms for mass.
CRB, pg 142
Also appears as "tons" in the Field Catalogue/ Heavy Weapons section too. Given that they are relying upon metric units, I suspect they mean "tonnes (metric)", rather than "tons (imperial)."

Ok, but if you look at the description it specifically says "The standard Plasma Gun, Human-Portable (PGHP) fires a single pulse or bolt that is immensely distributive but is very much a generalist weapon... The anti-armour variant increases the chance of a penetrating hit by generating three smaller plasma bolts in rapid succession." In the CSC 2023, the PGHP-13 is 10kg, so a 12kg PGAA-13 makes sense. Same applies for a 26kg PSWAB-13.

for the PSWAB-13= "A scaled-up version of the PGAA-13, this variant is bigger all round, with twin barrels and firing chambers. It is clumsy even for use in battle dress but provides armoured infantry forces with the capability to crack armoured vehicles and heavily reinforced positions"

I don't know about you, but IMTU battle dress doesn't let anyone sling 26 tons around, even with a -2 DM. I believe the images are misleading, as these should be Human Portable weapons.

@MongooseMatt you are the editor, what do you think?

Indeed. Makes sense. I thought the pictures reminded me of some of the Heavy Weapons found in other books, such as CSC and FC. But the text does indeed make out these are "portable" weapons of some sort of description. Given the quantities you've quoted then kilograms would make better reading.
