What stuff?... the stuff in the pictures of course.

What scale are matchbox cars? 1/72? HO Scale?

The bits in the picture are 1/72. There is some more - worth waiting for. I'll put up some pictures tomorrow. But i'm afarid its unpainted as I have little time.

Yeah I do realise that :D. The one key advantage is that the MGP ones are more robust than the rest.

That, and they come complete with the Stat/Special Rules Card and the Basic Game Rules!

You are quite correct. :D Rules and cards. Cards and rules. Good stuff. 8)

I have a number of 1/72 Leopard IIs from Dragon that are just slightly smaller than my 1/65 Mongoose tanks (Type 99 and M1A2s) and my Corgi 1/64 M1A2s. The 1/72 tanks would not be out of place on a game boards... I don't think the size difference would be noticable unless one bothered to compare.

I think Matchbox cars are 1/87. I'm not 100% certain, though.

You are correct. Too small for anything but 15mm.

1/87 would be more like 20mm...Unless we are again talking about seriously oversized 15mm's(33% bigger than should be...).

I hate scale creep.

if 1:87 was in your mind 15mm figs can i sugest you stop playing LOTR and give up the army peoples shire liberation army.

damn them hobbits

1:65 scale is 28mm

match box small cars vary in scale from 1:58 to 1:69 scale but on the whole are perfect for evo

can i add 15mm is generaly regarded as 1/100 scale as well :D

damn the evil forces of your shire, using 15mm fig

15mm is 1/100 - 1/114 (Standard is 1/100)

20 mm is 1/76-1/82 (pref 1/76)

28mm is 1/72 - 1/48 (pef 1/65 (mgp scale)but norm is 1/50 due to scale creep in some ranges of figs

hope that helps some of the muddy waters.

Nasty hobbitizes, we hatez them don't we preciouz?
I've finally found an army that can actually use an abrams as a transport as well as an MBT

Thanks for the quick scale lesson Evil.
