1. Transport marines! Does the marines attack roll happen during the attack phase or at the end of movement.

2. Maximum warp now! I order this action at the top of the turn because none of the restrictions apply. However through the course of the turn the ship becomes crippled. Do I still get away since the restriction didn't exist when I made the special action order?

not sure on one, rules not to hand. but on 2, any special action fails/effect ends immediately. alas, you do not warp out, oh noes, time to abandon ship

I asked this in an earlier thread, Matt said Transport Marines takes place during the movement phase, and is resolved after the initiating ship finishes its move.

Matthew rules on #2 as well. If you take damage during the turn that would have precluded you from taking the Maximum Warp Now special action... then the special action is cancelled and you lose the benefit.

Yup, if someone tries the cowardly thing (!) and tries to escape, keep hitting him until the ship's systems start to fail!
