I know it's different from playing yourself, but your cats can't be good enough at that game to give you a challenge...
At least, I hope not...

Now, now. Cats make for nice slippers.. 0;>

see my vest, see my vest, made from real gorillas' chest, see my loafers, former goafers...................

actually cats rule :)

Not in my universe ;)

lovely stuff!

the Xeel is one of the few ways to get fighters onto the table so i suppose that and a decent ship for a skirmish point makes for a good choice.

The Xeel right now is busted for it's level. Great firepower, decent damage and four great bombers? Too much at this level, should have had fewer fighters if it was going to have the bombers. This ship throws out 28 AD of fighter attack, just huge.

If it had firepower like the escort it would be closer to on par. Set a standard for a races firepower, then give up firepower for other special abilities like carried fighters, escort, scout....in this case it seems the fighters were free. Compare it to the Xorr and explain why you would take a Xorr ever, which is a real shame as we see the Xorr I believe in the show.

Great looking Vree ships!

Dark Angel

We've got B5 Season 2, B5 ACTA, a bag from EB Games, something that says "Sexiest" on it, a game I'm not familiar with... and CATS!

Oh, what a night THAT must have been.

Also, GREAT paint job Banichi. Incredible, really. I'm jealous.

The trick is to enjoy what a cat is, and not wish they were like a dog. Different animals, different instincts, different behavior.

I get to play against these vree on Sunday. I have never beaten them with my EA before. Heres hopeing third time lucky.

The game in question is Warmachine, and its rather a good game in my eyes. Basically its a sort of steampunk wargame with lots of steam powerd death machines smashing each other up and so on. Plays sort of like a cross between 40k and Battletech (in very broad terms) and has truly GORGEOUS miniatures.

Bah...that's cause the Dog God is easy, the Cat Gods require a little work. Makes it easy to see how men became known as Dogs and women get the cat references (with one notable exception).

Great game. It was my gateway game into Minis/Painting. Not too many units still make for lots of fun, and some really nice minis to boot. Oddly I find Warjacks much easier to paint than Battlemechs..

Sadly the sequel (Hordes) just had (gorgeous) minis that were for "Advanced" modelers only. Lots of delicate pinning required. Makes Shadow Scouts seem easy.

Bought Hordes recently - soo lovely books and got Derina to make and paint them - and a great job she did too 8)

I'm an idiot. My friends play that and I didn't recognize the minatures.

I didn't play it cause A) my friends that play are back at home and I go to school out-of-state and B) I could never do those minis justice.

Great looking ships.
Great looking cats too!

Warmachine is the inspiration basically, for the ACTA Cards.

That's funny.. I was making my cards Fedcom-sized but then when I went to make some for VaS I switched down thinking about WM.

I started making some VAS cards a while back but its a long process finding the art and put it aside for a while now. The few I've done are on my site.

Warmachine never thrilled me all that much. I picked up a bunch of mercenary stuff to paint but never got into the game itself. Still waiting to ebay them off.

I loved the idea of Warmachine, but still have trouble with the 'combo!' issue and the 'I killed your caster, it's over' aspect. 'but you ONLY killed my caster, I have lots of troops and 'jacks that are autonomous!' 'Nope, fighters over, you lose.'

Just hard to get into that idea, I know if I was training trenchers they wouldn't care if the captain went down.

Dratted cattle bothers did for me again. In the end I conceded, as I was just so badly positioned I couldn't get a single boresight. And they were perfectly positioned to prance about using SM and pick me to bits with antimatter canon fire. At least I managed to kill more than one ship this time (no, not two).
