Some Q about the Shadows and their special rules

It is double. I think he may be refering the the trait that lets you move at 150% speed with full SM In this case a shadow ship with speed 6 could normally move SM at up to 6" or turn up to 90 degrees and move up to 12" in a straight line.

With the upgrade it could move 9" SM or 12" in a straight line. ACTA does have its fair share of rules vaguaries but this aint one of them tbh ;)

As for the fighters and scouts thing:

1) Scanners to full is 3" as SQ says. though supporting flights only need to be withing 6" I believe.

2) Personally I think the lockon/stealth rudction should apply for the turn irrespective of whether the ship is taken out for both scouts and fighters to have it work one way for one and not for the other is just dumb imho. But it has been ruled on officially numerous times so thats that really :(

If its 150% then it'd be 15" SM? And the 90 deg turn and move double would be 30"?
 
no its based on the BASE SPEED SCORE.

You dont double the speed you can move standard SM, it just allows you to move SM faster it does NOT change your base speed score so your double move is still 12.

And 150% of 6 is 9 mate. The thing lets you move at 150% of your speed score not speed PLUS 150%!!!!
 
ok thats what i was thinking to that i can move 6" with SM or 9" with one 90° turn. the other plaer thougth that o could move + 150% so a total of 15" which would be great ;) ok thx alot!
