Some pics of SST stuff I've been working on.

Gauntlet-

Banded Mongoose
Been a looong time since I posted. But hey, I'm still trucking along making SST stuff and such.

Classic Tanker mod, Termite Tanker, Mobile Infantry as of Late (Kick ass flight stands), unique Skinnie (built with Dark Elf parts), Skinnie turret thing, New Terminator Toy

Gauntlet's entire Bug/MI/Skinnies/Etc. can be found here:

Haven't bothered yet.

I would probably allow it to have the multi-hit trait against structures, as well as give it a powerful shorter range spray attack that perhaps used a very wide template, thus making it ideal for slaughtering a squad but only at point blank range. More efficient than CC obviously, but CC is specialized against structures.

Furthermore possibly allow it the same tunneling advantages as the burrower bug?

So basically it provides some all around utility at the price of less direct awesome-a-tude such as the thorny tanker or king tanker.

Some very modding work there Gauntlet, like the buildings to.

Good use for a drinks can, I usually only chop then up and use the metal sheet.

Be interested of your opinion of these then.

Now thats what I call recycling 8)

Brilliant stuff, not only great use of raw materials but also catcthes the right look for MI bases.

particularly like use of the, (I'm guessing), back moulding off an old phone dial as the comms array.

It's funny you think of recycling... most of that stuff I bought particularlly for the project lol. (I have few funds for such ventures)

Anywho, your wrong I'm afraid, that is a painter's color palette. Plastic, small, goes for about 3$

Cool either way.

GAUNTLET!

Oh my god!

I hope I get the same welcome lol.

Love the exo-suits, any chance of letting me know how you did them.

And oooooh! Skinnies! That's good to see!

Looks like some AT-43 UNA Tac-Arms with unpainted GW Space Marine Jump Packs slammed on the back.
Crude, but efficient, I like it!

Never thought of using AT-43 models.
I never look at the things, they are pre-painted plastic afterall.
??? So what? :?:
You can always repaint them!
See some of mine here:

Hey Rob A!

Ya Know I'm like 60% sure I bought the Marauders pictured there from one of your ebay sales...

Do you happen to ship from alaska...

Nah mate, that was a guy from up the road.
If it was recently, that is.

I think he lives in Nuneaton, sold me some Flintloque stuff.

I wouldn't dare sell any SST. :)

Those are some mighty fine AT-43 miniatures there Agis, it's the price though. I really don't want to pay pro-painted prices when I am just gonna repaint them.

Same problem with MGP's bf-evo. I got the models from credit, which was fine.
But it always strikes me that I could get twice that many models from elsewhere! :?

Edit: That may have been reborn, he lives in Oxfordshire.
Just realised, I hadn't changed my location...
I never really post abroad, unless asked, nicely at that!

For me the price is reasonable, especially the new army packs (a 2000 pt Red Block AT-43 army for 70 EUR sounds good to me). 8)

But there is another reason for me to like pre-painted armies: average paint quality on the war gaming table.
There are so many games with unpainted (THE horror) armies or with "below par" painted minis, with pre-painted armies you have at least a good average look!

IMO more then worth the extra money...

Lets not go down this road... that argument will never end :)

Instead look at this! This is a AT43 UNA suit... decided to mod him a bit, for use in either WWII occultish games, or equally for SST.

The issue being I don't know whether to give him a jump pack...

And the bugs, ever my favorite, finally get the new burrower bug MK II completed... I have 3 brains, and frankly in our group's rule set there is rarely a need to take more than 1 (at 300 points it has Id Sending Coordinate + an extra Coordinate (which notably uses the Brain's action providing it)....

SO, I don't see why I can't convert some brains into other bugs, and it is not as if he can't pretend to be a Brain if need be. Note that this is replacing the old Nurser Bug I made.
