some pics of my ISA

Fantastic paint jobs, and as someone else said, it's the first time I've seen the Carrier look good!

Second time for me - Shadow Queen´s looks pretty pretty as well (she did post her ships a while back IIRC)

Loved the whitestars, really stunning paint jobs!

One problem with the Victory, and that's down to it's authentic colouring being dull. You've painted it beautifully, but it's still a dull colourscheme.
Not insulting your painting, please believe me, just the dull grey colouration of the ship itself.

Back to the whitestars, REALLY, REALLY GOOD!

I am thinking of adding some transfers to the victory to break up the flat look. As for it being grey, I hadn't really considered that, it's actually a WW2 german grey green, on the board it doesn't look so grey especially when compared to a more standard EA black/white grey a. Although it does look just as washed out as it does in the pictures.

As I hope I made plain, it's not an attack on the painting, just the rather dull ship design from the series.

I went a bit radical with mine. As the ship has adaptive armour, I went for more vorlon style mottling over most of the ship to give the effect of more advanced technology. They look cool, although radically different from the series

No worries I wasn't taking it personally. It's a problem with some of the larger ships, It's a pity B5 decals aren't readily available in the UK. I have plenty of decal sheets from Flames of War, 40K and Warhammer and am thinking of trying a few out on my Centauri. Maybe some Tau symbols on the wings, or FOW tank numbers/division badges to break up the monotony

Anything that isn't too recognisable as being from another game system would be usable. Worth putting a little thought into how you use them, as you can use it to number the ships for reference on the table.

I'm sure I herd that you can get decal paper that you can put through a printer and print your own decals. Just can't remember who mentioned it and where.

Just a thought
