Should I get into this?

Hello everyone,

Im not a huge fan of Dredd, but from what I do know about him, I can say that I like Dredd and the world his in very much

Saw some posts about lack of support or something like that for this game, and some talk about Mongoose awaiting 2 films before a new line or some game would come out.

My question is, is it better for me to sit tight and wait for this other stuff or will I be able to use what they sell now with their future games?

Gangs is a great sci-fi skirmish game. Buy it and see. And it's true there isn't much support...although every now and then in S&P you get some good addon rules. Still, worth the cash. My favorite game.

Its a good game, got me REALLY into Dredd. Its good fun, though does get boring quickly, wouldn't reccomend constant playing.

GMC1 is a great skirmish game with a gang theme. The heart is in building up a gang and playing campaigns, altho the one-off game is cool, too. For me, the satire of JD and 2000AD followed getting this game. I got into it b/c it's a great skirmish game.

So if you like a gang-theme and are open about a game with one movie, a bunch of novels and tons of comic print, then charge ahead! Overall, there's more to the world than anything GW has ever done. There's just not as much to the 'gaming' part of it.

But yeah, this is a cool game. If you like the figs and the rules, do it!

Yeah, we play every Tuesday, and last night was the wrap up to the last season. Average Gang ratings of 130, and 150 games played in the league. New league starts next week.

We have 6 regulars that meet at UMW's every week, sometimes games on the weekend too.

Basically saying, it's a good game. Well worth buying. I like playing, but I feel it needs a players touch. With the new stuff coming in S&P it should be better.

realy wish to get into it but had to read and reread the gang seletions bits loads, and gave up in the end

Someone's obviously a bit 'special'. It's very easy really, the new rules in the latest S&P REALLY help, theres a lot of choice now. I wouldn't limit these to the cursed earth either.
