Ship Crippled, Roll To Destroy ALL Traits?

As Burger said I was just trying to make it clear with an example, not trying to steal your "glory" ;)

Plus other people chimed in with the exceptions which was very useful too - I don't know how people remember these myriad of caveats and exceptions! (I would much prefer just the standard method for all traits) and I defn didn't know the bit about Fleet Carrier and Command and losing them if skeleton crewed (thanks Chern and CZusch).

Take it easy mate - people just like to help, there is nothing wrong with that :)

Actually, we always intended (though it doesn't really matter) for your opponent to roll it, so he is effectively rolling to destroy your traits :)
Thought it would be something like that.
We play it's your ship, you roll rule. Have the same rule when ships explode, it's quite funny watching people destroy their own ships. You always seem to roll better when attacking your own ships.
Hopefully on the back of the 2e rulebook there is a chart with all these little rules as easy reference.
Suppose it's the trouble with miltiple rulebooks.
