Sheoloth: Legend conversion (Completed - now in editing)

Hammering out the wards and so on now, this won't take a long time since the way Sheoloth is written it's pretty much small chapters for the wards.

I didn't remove all the spider related things in Sheoloth, but I did pull the focus of the drow's religion away from that. They still use them as house pets, construction vehicles and so on.

Never underestimate the value of a siege tank that can climb walls!
 
Very neat. I'm done on the find/replace now and I get to design the drow rules for Legend. Now that'll be fun.

A quick introduction to write and the drow rules, a few things here and there and we're done. The actual city book conversion is done as of now, with the Legend rules in play throughout, though the original author didn't go too deeply into d20 so it was really a matter of providing a baseline for GM's to build from with NPCs.

Much better than a massive list of NPCs to convert, yes, I am looking at you Spider God's Bride (1,2,3)

We want to do a bit more with Deus Vult and Sheoloth but yes, Wraith Recon is on the cards.
 
Prime_Evil: I'm laying the seeds of that volume in Sheoloth. Expect deeper dark elf rules and treatment in a fully fledged volume on them and if I can, I'll see about offering a few different interpretations on dark elves since I'm itching to use one I've had in my homebrew campaign worlds for years.

Currently I'm working on a new Background table for the dark elves in this book.
 
Only 15 entries to go in this book, and then the introduction to write, a few new dark elf items and weapons and we're done.
 
Some nice stuff here. The way I see it (even though I am not experienced with the system yet) Legend CAN provide an alternative to d20 systems by being unique.

Think of D&D as the original Battlestar Galactica and Legend the Reimagined series. Same genre for the most part, but entirely new 'feel'.

So I don't think its a bad idea to publish products that are more high fantasy, but they have to provide a different approach as mentioned :)
