Sharp Abiding Book

Purchased the Jrustela supplement a few days ago and have found the references to the Sharp Abiding Book a little cryptic. :? These references suggest that it contains most of the spells in the Abiding Book plus a few specialised combat spells but does not list them. Does anyone know what sorcery spells are supposed to be in the Sharp Abiding Book?

Here's a summary of Greg Stafford and my thoughts on the Sharp Abiding Book from "The Middle Sea Empire" (which is Mongoose's source material for everything pertaining to the God Learners):

Although the Abiding Book is the Word of God, it is not an easy read. Most people cannot begin to understand the Abiding Book - it is difficult, confusing, esoteric, and must be read using the Hadmalist four-fold system of exegesis (literal, allegorical, moral, and the mystical).

That's where the Sharp Abiding Book comes in. The Sharp Abiding Book is an abridged, abbreviated and intelligible version of the sacred Abiding Book. One can read it and readily understand it - it is straightforward and lends itself easily to a consistent and literal interpretation.

Hope that helps -

Jeff
