Just a quick query - we played or first scenario with Scout rules last night - a Base Assault of Roms v Fed (rather nice and down to the last turn wire game).

Anyhow - coming from an SFB background on this I tend to think in terms of Scout Channels, and was wondering (because it came up in the game) if Scout functions were cumulative ie
1) able to lay all 3 of a BATS's scout functions on itself as defensive jamming), or
2) if its at best Jam on itself, plus target two enemy ships as further Jamming targets.

If its the second option can the affected weapon systems be the same (ie a total of 4AD of of a plasma R say) or if the two jamming functions have to affect separate systems.

Who plays which way?
