Scout Book Question

I was gererating a scout character and mustered out and received the benefit "Research Equipment". I have not been able to find any description of what Research Equipment is.

Please help

I would just treat it as the Scientific Equipment benefit given in the core rulebook.

that is a lame benefit substitution. I would expect it to be a little more scout oriented and a little more interesting

Not exactly I mean use that but substitute some of the equipment from Scout.
